F.F. Is Where the F stands for...

I'm sorry you guys, but my hubs rocks. I'm tempted to go so far as to say...my husband rocks harder than yours does. (ladies) and...is better than you guys.(dudes)...yep.

Insight #2:Thanks to the snow and one derp driver who slammed on his breaks in front of me, my car is stranded in a ditch. It's my punishment for attempting to get to work. Pft. Won't try that again...

That's my car. I couldn't get pulled out because I was scared to make the 10 min drive back home. I was half way between work and home and I chickened out. I couldn't bring myself to admit out loud I was too scared to try. So I left my car there. Cyrus spent the night in a cold dark ditch because I'm a baby.

On top of that, I called the hubs to come get me and we got lost on the way home because we couldn't get through that spot. (too many cars had gone off road) So a 10 minute drive turned into an hour.

And then, I get home and had to wash poo out of one cats butt fur. (TMI? Yea. Was for me too.)

But, I guess it could have been worse...

This week I found a mashup of 2 awesome things that I love for some, weird, inexplicable reason.
Fred & iCarly!

In a rut? This guy can help. (profanity.)

Cutest kitteh evah! (I always wanted a scottish fold!)

Lastly, a prank.

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

  1. Sorry about your car. It looks lonely, but maybe it enjoyed the night off under the trees. I'm glad you're okay and yes, your husband rocks. (But not as much as mine. =op)

Some kids were pulling that rope prank on my street last year. I probably shouldn't admit that there's a kind of genius to it - but then again, I live on a slow enough street that no one really got inconvenienced or hurt. A couple brake taps. On a busy street, though, I can imagine a slew of fender benders because of it.

  2. Sorry about your accident. The first news report even made it to Canadian news. ;)

  3. Did you know Fred has a movie on nick now? Ask me about anything icarly and I can spout them out like any obsessed kid. Yeah, so Little Monster may watch a little too much icarly. But I love Spencer...I admit it.

Man that stupid patch of icy road. You car totally did not deserve it. And you of course. Hope today is MUCH better.

  4. Hope your car is okay...I'd be scared too! I LOVE that invisible rope trick, looks just like something me and my best friend would done!

  6. AW! I am so sorry about your car! I hate driving in the snow. I sang all the home yesterday this song, "I wish I lived where this is no snow." I've got a short drive to work but it's still TERRIFYING. I got in a little accident a few years ago because some guy lost complete control of his car (kind of like in that video! Except HE WAS THE ONLY ONE). That video is scary but kind of funny...glad they finally closed off that road. Yikes.

  7. Thank goodness you're ok! I never, ever want to drive in the snow--that looks so scary! Also, I now want a Scottish Fold kitten, too, and that prank is so mean! I would freak out if I were driving a car past them.

  8. I would have chickened out too. Those look like awful roads.

I had two kids pretend to do the rope trick and I pretended to veer towards one of them like I'd lost control. I haven't seen them do it since.

  14. Do you have proper winter tires on your car? If not, get some, and the snow driving isn't a big problem

  15. I think you did the right thing to leave the car. Being safe is important.

Loved those cars sliding down the road...where on earth was that? In Colorado we need all season radio tires.

That brings to mind a Christmas many years ago with two toddlers in our car. We were driving home from my mothers in a blizzard on the interstate. This guy speed around us. A few minutes later we passed him, he had crashed into the cement blocks separating the two sides of the highway. A few minutes later, he zoomed by us again, and shortly after that we passed him again because he crashed again, a few minutes later he...you get the idea. All the way home. I wonder what his insurance agent had to say?

  17. I'm so glad that you're okay. How do you get your car out of that? I'm an ignorant SoCal girl who has never driven in it or lost her car in a ditch.

I love RUT. That was great! Thanks for sharing. You always have the FUN videos!

  18. Sorry to hear about your car--but I'm glad you're okay!

  19. Thanks for the lovely clips! That's a big stinkeroo about your car. I ran off the road last night, but was able to get out okay. It's always a scary moment when your car takes over and turning the steering wheel does zilch.

  20. Right after I'm staring in horror at that picture of your car and imagining how awful that must have been (thank goodness you're okay!), you had me cracking up with the cat-poo-butt thing! OH MAN. I just picked a dried poo out of my cat's butt the other night and boy was he mad at me. The indignity of it all, I suppose. But this is but one of the many joys of being owned by a cat (or, in my case, four cats).

  21. Gosh, its good that you're okay though - and yup your hubby totally rocks! I would've left my car in a place like that too if it were me, much easier to sort out in the daylight -and in less snow!

    Have a lovely week! ;)

  22. Your hubby does indeed rock! Hope your car is okay - not like the ones in the video!!

  23. Sorry to hear about your car. That freaking sucks! And the cat thing...yeah, I can relate.

Hopefully you're weekend gets exponentially better!

  24. Whoa, poor car! Yay for the hubby. :) I loved the Scottish Fold cat vid, so cute. It was purring like crazy! Haha, the TMI moment; I used to have to do that ALL the time for one of our cats. Whew, glad that's a thing of the past...

  25. So sorry about the car (and the poo)! Ha, I actually like i-Carly (the kids watch it all the time), though Fred scares the crap out of me :) I really want that kitten now. It looked kinda like the baby lemur on Madagascar.

  26. Urgh! Sorry about the car off the road! I'm glad it was a night in the ditch for Cyrus, though, instead of a night or two in the hospital for you! Be safe! (and always assume ALL other drivers will be idiots in snow--I am training a new driver and I repeat this often "see--look at that stupid thing... it's because it is SLICK so he thinks just driving is good and stop lights don't MATTER anymore)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, your poor car! I name mine too, glad to see I'm not the only one ;)

"My husband rocks harder than yours does." Ooh, fighting words!!! LOL

    Hugs,

  28. Oh, boo for accidents! Those are some of the moments husbands come to the fore, though--when they just come and get you without pointing out how foolish you were to do whatever you were doing.

  29. OH MY GOODNESS!! Thank God you're all right! That would have been it for me too. I would have been paralyzed and would not be able to drive after that.

  30. ROFL You have found some more real gems! Sorry to hear about your car. I stay at home if the weather is too bad. I know what it's like to clean poo off a pet. Mmmm lovely! ;O)

  31. My sister's really into Fred; try as I might the guy still grates on me :( The other vids are awesome tho :) Hope your car is okay after that little mishap too :)

  32. I can't believe you admitted on your blog that you got lost on your own way home from work. ;) And yeah, I've seen all iCarly's multiple times. In fact, I'll be watching it in 25 minutes after Drake and Josh is over.
