Ides of March

BROPHYO WON!! Two dudes making yogurt seems to be the favorite word verification definition! So go forth into the world, my lovely bloggy friends, and brophyo till you can't brophyo no mo!

Hart Johnson is hosting an awesome blogfest I'm looking forward to hopping around to read today. Clicky her name to get the post about the fest and other participants!

I thought about writing a more in depth plot to murder, but I really don't feel comfortable letting you all know exactly how things would play out if I chose to be evil. And, believe me, the thought has crossed my mind...once or twice... It would really be too incriminating to give you all the dets, don't you think?

But, either way, my plans for murder aren't complicated or drawn out. Torture isn't my way. Molotov cocktails are.

Sure, the cops would know it wasn't an accident, but maybe I want people to know not to mess with me. No fingerprints, no evidence of explosive making equipment to be found in my house, on my credit cards, or receipts. It wouldn't be traced back to me. The cops could do nothing to me! And people would just know not to screw with this chick.

I'll burn your house down.
***No one needs to call the cops. I seriously don't know how to make Molotov cocktails IRL. It's just...a dream...***
I hope everyone will have fun checking out the fest and other entries!

Thursday is Alexia and my St. Patties Day blogfest,(Sign up button on your left there) so you have from now until then to sign up and participate! Everyone have their new release picked out in case they win yet?

Happy...oh! Tuesday! This is weeeeeird!!(As it's Tuesday I am "diligently" working on finishing INTO. It's already middle of March and my plans for querying this month have officially DIED with the fact that I have 10 sections left to finish! *sob* It's like I'm trapped in a clown suit pulling on never ending handkerchief of crit notes! I digress...all that to say, I will be replying to comments via email on my breaks and checking fest entries as it is polite, but unless I finish my notes early, fingers crossed, please don't be offended if I don't make it to you!)

  1. awesomeness. I'm always wondering how they can figure out whodunnit it on arson cases. Doesn't all the evidence burn up??? Anyway. Great work~

    mwuha ha haaaaa... :D

  2. Hehe. You are wicked. Short, sharp revenge - that would be the way I'd do it!

  5. Love your ideas, very clever! I think you should add some evil elements into your work! Scary about the clown suit... Now, I see a clown with a Molotov cocktail; yikes!

  6. I like firestarters, especially wearing a clown suit!

  9. Too funny,

I loved how you started this leading us to believe you almost weren't writing an entry and just discussing it ever SO matter of fact....

    CLEVER, WICKED, GIRL!

  10. Oh, no! I sort of hate to laugh at your locked up clown out-fit comment - such a great image, though! Hope those handkerchief comments come to an end soon ~ :) And I hear April's a great month for querying. Keep at it - you're just about there!

  11. Ha, this made me LOL! You're one tough cookie. Love it!

Good luck finishing your edits. I will be working on another big round soon, and then will also be querying my little heart out. Quite literally, it dies a little each time I get rejected (ha, just joking. Sorry, you got me in a morbid mood with all this murder talk). Yay querying!

  12. Loved Nancy's comment about putting up a fire wall. But I think your ingenuity would just overcome the challenge, judging from your great entry, Roland

  13. Molotov cocktails indeed. That would be the easy way, wouldn't it? LOL

Please don't burn down my house... :)

  14. I've thought way too much about how I'm going to die/how others are going to die. I would honestly never open my mouth to tell anyone anything I've thought of! Though some of it comes out in my writing....especially in Fay and Oliver's story! Haha.

I like the idea of a molotov cocktail. It's understated. Subtle.....fun. But Explosions ALWAYS get me hot and heavy :P

  19. You had me cackling at being unwilling to tell how it would go, should you decide to turn evil... teehee...

  21. No clues? You aren't one of those "I'd kill them with an icicle" people, are you? Sorry, I've watched too many Perry Mason shows.

  22. So many possibilities here, you little devil.

  23. Molotov cocktails - wonderfully old school. LOVE!

  25. Balls of fire made by liquid crap- nice touch. Love it! I see you as a launcher of the molotov cocktail. I don't know what that means necessarily, but now I know not to get on your bad side ;p

  26. Molotov cocktails freak me out. What a terrible way to go!

  27. My CP and I were recently researching what happens to bodies after they're buried for a scene in a WIP, and I commented to her that we're totally going to end up on a watchlist. Somehow, I won't be surprised if you join us ;)

  28. Great post, and funny as always! Have I ever told you that your profile picture totally reminds me of Survivor? Every time I see it, I envision you fighting rattlesnakes or evil castmates LOL!

  29. Oooh, this is a dark topic. I like it. Great choice with the molotov cocktail. If we ever go out for a drink, I'll make sure I'm buying ;-)

  30. Fire scares me. I'd like to be able to take people out ninja style. And only people who torture living beings should be tortured to death. Those I don't think I'd have a problem doing...what does that say about me? ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oooh good luck with the edits!

I know how to make molotov coctails...

But they aren't my style... I'm more of the sniping from the roof/poisoning with risin/wire garrote types. Not as flairy as the rest, but I'm sure it gets done. No messing around with buttons and things.

    ;-)
