Counting Down
I got chills, teary eyed, and reminiscy feelings. This is going to be amazing and oh so sad at the same time. *sigh* The end. This Harry Potter girl has been living in the shadow of the last book for a long time so the last movie is...hard!
Last time dressing up for a HP release! Ah well! It's been amazing fun!
Has anyone tried Hot Yoga or Hot Pilates before? Signed up for a class and interested to talk to someone about their experience.
Still going along with queries and rewrites over here! Nothing news worthy to report yet. How's everyone else doing with their work?

I'm so excited and sad at the same time about Harry Potter--can't believe it's ending! Good luck with querying and rewrites!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the movie! And THIS time I'M the one taking my 11 yo. For the last one, my husband (who's never read the books) took him while I took my younger two to see Tangled. I had to wait for the DVD to see HP part one. NOT THIS TIME!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know! I get a little teary every time I see the new trailer. (I'm such a sap. lol) I just can't believe it's ending. Seeing it will definitely be a little bittersweet for me.
ReplyDeleteI started the movie series with my granddaughter as a child. Next month I will see the last with a beautiful young woman. Harry Potter is a memory we cherish.
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to this movie but I might delay seeing it for a bit because as soon as I do, the magic will be over.
ReplyDeleteI've been working on a new project and trying to forget about the last one I just finished.
I can tell you're excited! And hot yoga sounds like it would be fun wot watch - is that wrong?
ReplyDeleteTo watch.
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck is a wot???
Alex got so excited thinking about hot yoga watching he made up a word, hehe!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your queries and revisions!
I've never taken hot yoga...I wonder how people do it. I think I'd probably pass out!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited. I managed to get into a special showing, so at 5:00 p.m. on July 14th I'll be watching the movie. *sigh* Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet I can because it will be over.
I'm sad about the end of the series as well.:( I have done hot yoga. I have heard that the goal for you first class is to stay in the room. Then after 2 or 3 times going you will be used to it and able to do the practice. Personally I did not get past my 2nd time. I love yoga and I found the heat too stressful so it was not why I do yoga. All the sweating is a nice cleanse though.
ReplyDeleteFor years now, it's been mine and my sister's tradition to see the newest Potter in the theater together when it comes out. I feel like it's the end of an era. I'm teary right along with you!
ReplyDeleteAww. It'll be okay. HP will never truly die. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I've done Bikram (hot) hoga. Take a lot of water and don't forget to breathe. You'll want to pass out (and maybe thrown up) during the class, but you'll feel great after. ;)
Gee, Alex, I thought for sure you were talking about the Wheel of Time (wot). =D
ReplyDeleteDon't, I'm feeling all emotional about it, too. At least we can still watch the DVD's/read the books ;D
ReplyDeleteI can't even talk about Harry Potter... it makes me so sad! It's like the end of an era. :(
ReplyDeleteThings are going okay over here. Trying to find time to fit in actual writing with everything else going on! But not complaining :)
I already have my tickets for the opening day. End of an era.
ReplyDeleteHi Colene. I'm an HP junkie too but I've never dressed up. Looking forward to the movie. Hope you learn something great about your writing soon.

Should be epic! Such a great series. It IS sad to see it end.
ReplyDeleteI know, I get a little verklempt just thinking about it. I'm trying to figure out how I can go to the midnight showing and still go to work at 7am on Friday...I'm pretty sure I'll be a walking zombie.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange to anticipate and dread something so much. I feel like I'm losing some friends (which is exactly how I felt when I read the last book).
ReplyDeleteI know, I can't believe this is it. It's gonna be great, epic, and then...all over. It was a great ride though, between the books and the movies. I'll miss the anticipation of waiting for a new book, new movie. It was good times. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to hear how your class goes. I've heard about Hot Yoga from others and it sounds like it gets pretty intense (sweating like crazy and stuff).
I guess I was more sad when the last book came out. No more HP to read. :sniffle: As for the movies, my daughter refuses to watch Part I until Part II comes out, so I haven't even seen that yet. When it finally makes it to video, we'll have a Deathly Hallows marathon.
ReplyDeleteAn online acquaintance of mine does hot yoga. It sounds hard. I probably need some heavy duty exercise but... meh.
I set my WIP aside and my querying set itself aside. Right now, I'm working on the first round of edits on last year's NaNo novel. So far, so good.
That. Was. Awesome. And it comes out on my birthday :) Saweet!
ReplyDeleteAs for my WIP...still doing major revisions. But I love it more every time it's changed! Good luck with everything.
I don't even want to think about it....It's such a tradition to wait on tenterhooks for the new HP trailer every year! I just can't imagine...*sobs*
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this movie, but it's so sad it's the last one. Sniff.
ReplyDeleteThe trailer gives me the chills. I can't wait. I've not done much writing because of migraines etc., but I'm reading lots instead. :O)
ReplyDeleteI'm both looking forward to this movie and dreading it. I hate that it's coming to an end! I've taken Hot Yoga. It was...HOT. Hot Pilates was big out here for awhile. It's not AS big anymore, but you can still find classes almost everywhere. I'm bummed yours was canceled!! And that you can't make the Hot Yoga.
